Statement of Faith

We believe in:

The divine inspiration of the Holy Bible, it’s supreme authority and entire trustworthiness in all matters of faith or conduct.

The unity of the Godhead and the divine co-equality of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The sovereignty and grace of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgement.

The utter depravity and universal sinfulness of human nature as a consequence of the fall, rendering man subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

The necessity for regeneration by the Holy Spirit through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

The substitutionary sacrifice of the incarnate Son of God as the sole all sufficient ground of redemption from the guilt and power of sin and from its eternal consequences.

The justification of the sinner solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ crucified and risen from the dead.

The necessity of the illuminating, revealing, regenerating, indwelling and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.

The priesthood of all believers, who form the universal Church, the Body of which Christ is the Head and which is committed by His command to the proclamation of the Gospel throughout the world.

The resurrection of the just and the unjust, the former into glory and the latter into condemnation.

The knowledge and expectation of the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory.

The observance of baptism by total immersion as an ordinance of divine institution

The observance of the Lord’s supper (communion) as a commemoration of our Lord’s death.
